Start your journey through the Izu Peninsula here.

A Retreat in the Heart of the Izu Peninsula, Shizuoka

A place that offers unhurried time.
A place where adults rediscover a different kind of richness— the quiet abundance they once felt in childhood.
Here, you face nature.
And in doing so, you face yourself.
This is not about leaving something behind, but about preserving what truly matters.
A place to experience both nostalgia and authenticity.

By touching nature, and connecting with people, you are reminded of things that once felt natural— yet have slowly drifted away from everyday life. This is a place to remember them again.

What You Can Experience at Cotori

At Cotori Village, it’s not only about being surrounded by nature. It’s about becoming part of the local community—and truly experiencing it.

Here, we intentionally move against the pace of modern life. An analog way of living. Time to focus deeply on something—anything—without distraction.

You may choose a simple stay and create your own journey freely.

Or, if you wish, you can plan your experience together with our staff, shaping your time step by step.

What matters to us is not the final form, but the process of creating it—and fully enjoying every moment along the way.

We hope Cotori becomes a place you return to, like a second home in the countryside.
